Consulting & Planning

QNS has knowledgeable, experienced team members ready to listen, consult and plan for your District’s technology needs.  

 

Whether you are experiencing urgent matters; such as, poor connectivity, content management, security/firewall issues or continuing alerts to computer viruses, we listen and assist in your immediate needs as well as formulate a technology plan that fits your District, Teachers and Students.  

Budgeting

After 20-plus years serving K-12 Education, we understand that funding technology can be difficult. Over the years, QNS has proven both the desire and ability  to work with very small school districts, with very limited financial resources, throughout the Midwest. Upon request,  we facilitate a "working meeting" with our Districts' finance/technology committee to create a 10-year IT Forecast.

In order to effectively utilize all available funding avenues, QNS encourages K-12 Superintendents and Business Managers to work closely with your tech director and/or contact an independent Erate Consultant in your area as erate funding programs and educational grants can and often change year over year. Keeping informed on funding options, grants and overall USAC directives can be vital to K-12 technology budgets. 

Implementation

Whether your district needs a complete IT infrastructure rework, an upgrade on wireless access points, deployment of new one-to-one devices, increase firewall protection, QNS schedules Network and Server Team members to effectively complete this work during school downtime-minimizing or eliminating disruption of technology.

QNS prides itself on service beyond expectations.   Our simple and affordable “Technology Support and Service Agreement” builds a partnership with our Districts.

 

Annually, or upon request, we reassess your Technology Assets and recommend changes, enhancements or upgrades, if needed.   Our proprietary “QNS Online Registration System (ORS) icon” assures District members fast, traceable and reliable response to any technology service request.  

 

For the 2018 school year, our same-day resolution of service requests was 85.36%.
