NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR - ILLINOIS
JOB OVERVIEW:

The successful candidate will assist our lead Network Administrators in their efforts to maintain and support our customer’s servers, desktops, laptops, tablets, 1:1 devices, network infrastructure, printers, and firewalls.  The successful candidate will also provide software and end user support both onsite and remotely.  This position requires someone who is highly motivated, a self starter and a very good communicator.  Local travel to customer sites required.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience managing Active Directory including user accounts and group policies.

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience required.

  • Solid working knowledge of Windows operating systems (Win7, Win10).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Customer service experience is a plus.

  • A+ or MCP certification is a plus.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Must be an Illinois resident with a clean driving record.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain networked computers (primarily Windows 7 and Windows 10).  This includes new installs, upgrades, and imaging.

  • Assist with server administration (Windows 2012 R2, 2016) including Active Directory, group policies, backups, user management, scripting, and software deployment)

  • Provide help desk support onsite and remote.

  • Other duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION

We offer excellent benefits including a group medical insurance plan, paid vacation and holidays, as well as a 401K plan.  Starting salary is dependent on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
